About the Role

We are looking for a skilled AppSheet Developer to design, develop, and maintain an internal billing application using Google AppSheet and Google BigQuery. The role involves building user-friendly interfaces, configuring automated workflows, and connecting frontend applications with backend data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL knowledge, low-code/no-code development experience, and an understanding of data security and access control.

The developer will build an intuitive interface for the internal billing system on top of existing Google BigQuery billing pipelines. The role includes configuring AppSheet views, automations, and user permissions while ensuring efficient access to large-scale cloud datasets.

The candidate will also use Google Apps Script to extend application functionality, integrate external services through APIs and webhooks, and optimize SQL queries for application performance. Understanding billing or financial data systems will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain internal billing applications using Google AppSheet.
- Create application views and configure user access permissions.
- Connect AppSheet applications to Google BigQuery datasets and backend billing tables.
- Configure AppSheet Bots, Events, Tasks, and automated workflows.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support efficient data retrieval and application performance.
- Use Google Apps Script (GAS) for custom functionality and complex data transformations.
- Implement role-based access control and security filters to protect sensitive billing information.




- Integrate external services using APIs and webhooks while maintaining a user-friendly interface.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Google AppSheet and low-code/no-code application development.
- Knowledge of Google BigQuery and cloud data warehouse integration.
- Proficiency in SQL, including querying, filtering, and data structuring.
- Experience with Google Apps Script (GAS).
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and AppSheet security filters.
- Experience with API and webhook integration.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and user-friendly application design.
- Knowledge of API Gateway, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with billing systems, financial data pipelines, or internal ERP tools.

Preferred / Good to Have

- Experience in Financial Operations.
- Previous exposure to billing systems, financial pipelines, or internal ERP applications.
