Harji Housing & Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain accurate financial records and coordinate statutory compliance with our Chartered Accountant.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally Prime, Excel, GST and TDS accounting. Experience in construction, real estate or project-based accounting will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts, including purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and expense entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, track outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
- Verify supplier, contractor and subcontractor bills against purchase orders, supporting documents and approved work measurements.
- Maintain project-wise accounts and allocate material, labour, subcontractor and overhead expenses correctly.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile customer, vendor and contractor ledgers.
- Monitor advances, security deposits, retention amounts and their adjustments.
- Maintain petty cash records and verify site expense statements and supporting bills.
- Prepare GST reconciliations, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B/input tax credit reconciliation, and coordinate timely filing.
- Calculate applicable TDS, maintain supporting records and coordinate deposits and returns with the CA.
- Process approved salaries, reimbursements and labour payments, and support applicable payroll compliance.
- Prepare weekly payment schedules, cash flow statements, ageing reports and monthly financial MIS.
- Assist with month-end closing, year-end finalisation and internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain organised digital and physical records of invoices, vouchers, approvals and statutory documents.
- Flag discrepancies, overdue payments and unsupported expenses promptly to management.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- B.Com or M.Com from a recognised institution.
- 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Robust working knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
- Ability to handle day-to-day accounts independently and coordinate effectively with the CA.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate with site supervisors, purchase teams, vendors and contractors.

Preferred Experience

- Previous employment with a construction company, builder, developer or infrastructure business.
- Experience handling accounts for multiple projects or sites.
- Familiarity with contractor billing, retention, advance adjustments and construction material purchases.
- Immediate or early availability.
