Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. This full-time role will manage financial reporting, prepare and analyze financial statements, ensure accurate recording of inventory-related transactions, and support budgeting and forecasting.

The Senior

Accountant will monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations, while partnering with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decisions. The position is an on-site role based in Goregaon,



requiring close collaboration with the finance team and other departments to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core accounting practices, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and internal controls relevant to retail or apparel businesses.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work in office in Goregaon, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within fashion, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
