Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurangabad. This role is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. Daily responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, monitoring cash flows, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Senior

Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while preparing reports for management and auditors. The role also involves supporting process improvements, guiding junior accounting staff,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Sound knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or Ind AS).
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, along with solid Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting or finance team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or CMA) are an advantage.
- Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience, preferably including work as a senior-level or lead accountant.
- Ability to work on-site in Aurangabad and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
