Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam for an Experienced CAD/BIM Specialist with Scan-to-CAD and Scan-to-BIM expertise. The specialist will transform point cloud and survey data into accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, following established CAD and BIM standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating technical drawings, coordinating model information across disciplines, and maintaining structured digital documentation.

The role involves reviewing input data for quality, resolving modeling issues, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure deliverables meet specifications and deadlines. The specialist will also support continuous improvement of workflows, templates,



and standards for Scanobee’s CAD/BIM processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Technical Drawing, including the ability to interpret and produce accurate 2D and 3D documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and tools, with a focus on Scan-to-BIM deliverables.
- Knowledge of CAD Standards and best practices, including layer management, naming conventions, and file organization.
- Proficiency in Drawing review and quality control to ensure completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
- Experience working with point cloud data and laser scans for Scan-to-CAD and Scan-to-BIM projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-leading software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or equivalent) and ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, structural engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate work within a multidisciplinary team on-site.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized digital records and documentation.
