Securze is looking for enthusiastic, technically curious, and motivated Security Analyst Interns who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience in real-world security operations.

The selected candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals across Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Security Operations Center (SOC), threat detection, incident response, and infrastructure security.

We are looking for individuals who have a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to continuously learn and develop their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) of web applications, APIs, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Support security monitoring, log analysis, and threat detection using SIEM and other security tools.
- Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Assist in investigating security alerts, suspicious activities, and potential security incidents.
- Perform basic reconnaissance, network scanning, and vulnerability assessments.
- Work with security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, and other relevant technologies.
- Assist in preparing technical security reports, vulnerability documentation, and remediation recommendations.
- Support security configuration reviews,



system hardening, and security best practices.
- Research emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand security issues and support remediation activities.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Basic understanding of computer networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, common attack vectors, and security vulnerabilities.
- Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web application security.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SOC operations, SIEM, security monitoring, and incident response.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and approach problems analytically.
- Good communication skills and the ability to document technical findings.

Good to Have

- Hands-on experience with Kali Linux and cybersecurity tools.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with platforms such as TryHackMe, Hack The Box, or PortSwigger Web Security Academy.
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Active Directory security,



endpoint security, and malware analysis.
- Cybersecurity certifications or relevant training, such as CEH, eJPT, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
- Personal cybersecurity projects, CTF participation, or responsible bug bounty experience.

Eligibility

- Students or recent graduates pursuing/completing B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc., BCA, MCA, or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and a genuine interest in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must be willing to work full-time from our Mumbai office.
- Immediate availability to join is strongly preferred.

Important Information This is a strictly work-from-office opportunity based in Mumbai. Remote or work-from-home arrangements are not available.
