About the Role

We’re hiring an SEO Executive to take ownership of our website’s search performance. You’ll work closely with our marketing team on SEO strategies that actually move the needle: better rankings, more organic traffic, and stronger visibility for Vastu Vihar across search platforms.

This is not a run-an-audit-and-forget role. We want someone who tracks results, adjusts course when something isn’t working, and stays on top of changing search algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and carry out on-page and off-page SEO for the company website
- Conduct keyword research relevant to the building materials and interior products industry
- Optimise website content, meta tags, headers,



and URLs for better rankings
- Track performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and report on what’s working
- Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and other ethical link-building practices
- Work with the content team to make blog posts, product pages, and landing pages SEO-friendly
- Monitor competitor websites and identify gaps and opportunities
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and adjust strategy accordingly
- Coordinate with the web development team on technical SEO fixes (site speed, mobile-friendliness, broken links, etc.)
- Prepare monthly performance reports with clear, actionable insights

Requirements

- 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house both fine)
- Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
- Good grasp of keyword research and content optimisation
- Ability to read data and make sense of it, not just pull reports
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team
- Basic HTML/CSS is a plus, not mandatory

Good to Have

- Experience with a website in real estate, interiors, or building materials
- Familiarity with local SEO practices
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads or paid search
