Mid-Level Quality Engineer

Role description

Minimum 5+ years of solid test automation experience demonstrating strong technical capabilities.

Strong Selenium experience is a must have.

Oracle Retail experience is nice to have

Well versed using test management tools like ALM/Zephyr

Familiar with automation execution from Jenkins.

Nice to have TOSCA knowledge/experience. It’s mandatory to at least get trained in TOSCA before starting.

Experience in writing and tuning SQL

Set up environment in preparation for automation execution.

Provides effective and timely communication of QE status, progress, issues, risks and mitigation plans.

Automation test development for mid-complex business rules and rules engine.

Maintain and expand the automation regression suite for multiple applications.

Partners and collaborates with team members to design/develop and complete testing

Performs other duties as assigned.

Performs low-mid-complex testing to ensure that the system is implemented, and functions as designed.





Creates test cases for projects while utilizing Zephyr, business/solution requirements and technical design documentation.

Performs triage for defects, which includes detection, risk assessment, documentation and retesting. Acts as the subject matter expert on specific areas of testing.

Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude.

Experience working in Agile teams.

Good communication skills and teamwork focus mindset.
