Banyan Tree School is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a Physics background to teach Science and Physics to students from Classes VI to XII and support their academic development, scientific thinking, curiosity, and overall learning.

Essential Requirements

- Master’s Degree in Physics / Applied Physics or a relevant Science subject.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) / equivalent teaching qualification (Mandatory).
- 3–5 years of relevant school teaching experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Physics, Science concepts, experiments, and laboratory practices.
- Good communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct age-appropriate Science classes for Classes VI to XII, with focus on Physics at senior levels.




- Explain scientific and Physics concepts through clear, practical, and engaging teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, and assessments.
- Conduct and supervise Science/Physics experiments and laboratory activities safely.
- Assess students’ understanding, performance, skills, and progress.
- Encourage scientific thinking, curiosity, problem-solving, and application of concepts.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students as required.
- Prepare students for examinations, projects, practicals, and academic competitions.
- Maintain attendance, assessment, practical, and academic records.
- Work with teachers and school leadership to support students’ overall academic development.
