Role: SAP IS-U ABAP Consultant / Developer

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, and the Energy & Utilities domain. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the Meter-to-Cash process and hands-on experience with modern SAP technologies, particularly SAP BTP and RAP.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP applications within the SAP IS-U / Energy & Utilities domain.
- Work with SAP S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData services, and AMDP.
- Develop and maintain RICEF/RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows where applicable.
- Leverage SAP BTP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) to develop modern SAP applications and extensions.
- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications, including custom extensions and configuration of roles, catalogs, and groups.
- Work with BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, and other SAP development technologies.
- Apply SAP HANA development concepts, data modeling, performance optimization, ADT, ADBC, Native SQL, and database procedures.
- Understand existing business processes, particularly Meter-to-Cash, and identify opportunities for technical improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve user problems,



and deliver enhancements across implementation and Application Management Services (AMS) projects.
- Participate in system testing, quality assurance, end-user training, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer.
- Strong experience in the Energy & Utilities domain, preferably with SAP IS-U.
- Good understanding of Meter-to-Cash business processes.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP BTP and/or RAP, as applicable to the project requirements.
- Strong technical expertise in ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData, BAPI, BADI, and RFC.
- Working experience with SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Hands-on experience with RICEF/RICEFW development, CDS Views, and AMDP.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications, custom extensions, and configuration of roles, catalogs, and groups.
- Experience in at least 2 full life-cycle SAP implementations.
- Ability to work across implementation and AMS projects.

Positive to Have

- Experience with BRF+.
- Knowledge of BPEM.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), performance optimization, ADBC, Native SQL, database procedures, text search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live model consumption.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members and collaborating across technical and functional teams.
