SAP FICO - Senior Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO Senior Consultant with strong experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP implementations, client interactions, solution design, testing, and support activities across ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

Mandatory Skills

- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP implementation experience is mandatory.
- Experience in Greenfield and/or Brownfield implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in core FICO areas:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Asset Accounting (AA)

- Bank Accounting

- Cost Centre Accounting

- Profit Centre Accounting
- Experience in business requirement gathering, configuration, and solution design.
- Hands-on experience in preparing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
- Experience in UAT planning, execution, defect management, and user support.




- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience supporting Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-production activities.

Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FICO processes as per business needs.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and recommend best practices.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
- Support integration with other SAP modules.
- Lead and assist UAT activities and business user training.
- Support deployment, cutover, and Go-Live activities.
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Positive to Have
- SAP FICO Certification.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
- Exposure to data migration and cutover activities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Note: Candidates must have experience across at least one full-cycle SAP implementation from requirement gathering/design through Go-Live and Hypercare support.
