Job Overview erpOI is looking for an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), particularly in decentralised EWM environments and warehouse automation.

You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure and support warehouse processes, including integration with material handling equipment (MHE), conveyors and automated warehouse systems.

Experience in retail, e-commerce fulfilment or high-volume distribution environments will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP EWM processes covering inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, replenishment, picking and putaway.
- Design and support functional solutions in decentralised SAP EWM environments.
- Work with warehouse automation solutions, including MHE, conveyors and automated warehouse systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams on SAP Material Flow System (MFS), automation interfaces, testing and issue resolution.
- Gather business requirements and conduct functional workshops with stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation and test scenarios.
- Support functional testing, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover and post-go-live activities.




- Troubleshoot warehouse process issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects.
- Deliver user training and support warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with distributed delivery teams during European business hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 6–7+ years of hands-on SAP EWM functional consulting experience.
- Practical experience with decentralised SAP EWM.
- Experience with warehouse automation and integration involving MHE, conveyors or automated warehouse systems.
- Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, replenishment, picking and putaway.
- Experience with SAP EWM integration with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work remotely from India during European business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP Material Flow System (MFS).
- Background in retail, e-commerce or high-volume distribution centres.
- Experience in SAP EWM implementation, rollout or production support projects.
