Sales Executive Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials

Products: Cold-form Alu-Alu Foil, PTP / Blister Lidding Foil, and PVC/PVDC Pharmaceutical Films

Location: Hyderabad / Ahmedabad — one position in each city

Reporting to: Foreign Sales Director

About Hysum

Hysum is a listed packaging-material manufacturer from China. We are hiring locally based sales professionals to develop pharmaceutical packaging-material business in India.

The Role

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor sales position. You will personally develop customers and manage your own sales pipeline. The company provides qualified leads, marketing materials, samples and headquarters support, while independent new-customer development remains an essential responsibility.

Responsibilities

- Identify and visit pharmaceutical manufacturers, particularly tablet and capsule producers.
- Develop relationships with Procurement, Packaging Development, Quality and Production teams.
- Follow up company-provided leads and independently generate new opportunities.
- Understand packaging requirements and coordinate samples, customer trials and technical evaluations.
- Handle quotations, commercial negotiations and order follow-up within approved terms.
- Coordinate customer communication on quality concerns and delivery delays with headquarters.
- Maintain customer records,



opportunities and forecasts in the company’s CRM.
- Provide a weekly progress report to the Foreign Sales Director and achieve individual sales targets.

Requirements

- Preferably five or more years of B2B field-sales experience.
- Direct sales experience in at least one of the following: cold-form Alu-Alu foil, blister lidding foil, or PVC/PVDC pharmaceutical films.
- Demonstrated ability to develop recent pharmaceutical customers and convert trials into commercial orders.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical customers’ purchasing and packaging-approval processes.
- Business English for communication with the China-based team.
- Willingness to travel frequently, visit customers and work independently.

This role focuses on packaging materials, rather than pharmaceutical drug promotion, packaging machinery or sales-support work.

Compensation

Annual fixed gross salary: INR 800,000–1,200,000, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities, plus sales commission. Final compensation and employment arrangements will be confirmed in writing.
