Roles & Responsibilities

Language Requirement: Telugu language speaking and understanding is compulsory for ground-level communication with contractor workers and local site teams (along with working knowledge of English or Hindi).

- Permit to Work (PTW) & High-Risk Jobs: Enforce and audit PTW systems for Hot Work, Height Work, Confined Space entry, and LOTO during plant operation and maintenance shutdowns.
- HIRA & JSA: Prepare and implement Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for boiler, turbine, and auxiliary maintenance.
- Daily Briefings & PPE: Conduct mandatory daily Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety pep-talks, and ensure 100% PPE compliance for company staff and contractor teams.
- Incident Reporting & CAPA: Investigate near-misses and safety incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Emergency & Fire Drills: Inspect fire protection systems (hydrants, extinguishers), coordinate mock drills, and manage on-site emergency preparedness.
- EHS Compliance: Maintain site safety logs, track daily/monthly EHS metrics,



and ensure adherence to ISO 45001 standards and statutory factory safety rules.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of site safety experience in Power Plants ,(AFBC/CFBC) Boilers, or continuous process plant O&M; setups.

- Education & Certifications:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering with a recognized state diploma in industrial safety (ADIS / PDIS) is compulsory.

- Core Competencies: Strong command over high-pressure steam hazards, electrical safety, chemical handling, and contractor workforce management.
