SIC Specialist ( Supervisory Incubation Centre Specialist)
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-job meeting with contractors and assess the risk
- Competency building Contract workers with job-based training on topics not restricted to Hazard identification & workplace safety (applicable to pharmaceutical/ chemical plants), Work permit system, LOTO, Material handling, Machine guarding, PPEs, Fire safety, Electrical safety, Hot work, Work at height, Confined space, Vehicle & driving safety, Safety related to Cranes & Lifts etc.
- Hands on experience in Behavior based safety and conducting on field behavior observations.
- Implementing the behavioral intervention to improve safety at the field level among the employees & contractors.
- Assess and evaluate the performance of contract workers on field and generate data for contractor safety performance
- Rolling out Safety Interventions programs
- Act as a coach and mentor in field for the contract workforce and supervisors
- Develop and issue monthly MIS
Desired Profile
- Experience on EHS standards applicable to Pharma/Chemical plant
- Passion towards Training on Safety Topics.
- Preferably Experienced in Pharmaceutical/Chemical plant.
- Valuable communication skill English , Hindi & Gujarati
Desired Experience
- Minimum 10~ 15 years of experience
- A strong Safety background in the Pharma /Chemical industry.
- At least 5 Years experience in pharma/chemical plant
- Experience in operational safety, and shop-floor engagement will be an added advantage
Qualification
- Engineering Degree / ME Industrial Safety (or) Safety Qualification (PDIS or ADIS)
