Role & responsibilities

- Monitor the quality of Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) supplied to construction sites.

- Conduct quality checks on incoming concrete, including slump tests, temperature checks, and sampling.

- Ensure cube casting, curing, and compressive strength testing are carried out as per applicable standards.

- Verify concrete mix designs, grades, approved sources, and batch tickets.

- Coordinate with RMC plants, site teams, and laboratories to address quality issues.

- Maintain concrete pour records, test reports, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.

- Investigate concrete quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved method statements, and relevant IS codes.

- Monitor concrete rejection, test results, and supplier performance.





- Conduct regular site inspections during concrete pouring and ensure adherence to quality procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust knowledge of RMC, concrete technology, and construction quality control.

- Hands-on experience with slump tests, cube testing, and concrete sampling.

- Knowledge of IS codes, particularly IS 456 and relevant concrete testing standards.

- Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting, and coordination with site teams.

- Experience in high-rise residential or large-scale construction projects preferred.
