Job Summary
Kargeen Restaurant is looking for a confident, experienced, and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise the service team and ensure an excellent dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate should have strong food and beverage service knowledge, leadership abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the service team during daily restaurant operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure professional, attentive, and efficient service.
- Assign duties to waiters and monitor their performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly arranged and dining areas remain clean.
- Maintain staff grooming, discipline, and service standards.
- Train and guide junior service staff.
- Monitor order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and shift briefings.
- Follow restaurant hygiene, safety,
and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in restaurant or hotel service.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Waiter is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
- Leadership and team-management abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
