: R&D; Peptide Scientist / Peptide Chemist Department: Research & Development (R&D;) Designation: R&D; Peptide Scientist / Peptide Chemist Industry: Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology / Peptide Research Job Summary We are looking for an experienced R&D; Peptide Scientist/Chemist to work on peptide synthesis, purification, characterization, and analytical development. The candidate will support research activities, process optimization, and quality improvement in peptide-related projects.

Key Responsibilities - Perform peptide synthesis using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and other relevant techniques.

- Conduct peptide purification using preparative and analytical HPLC.
- Characterize peptides using LC-MS, mass spectrometry, and HPLC techniques.
- Develop and optimize peptide synthesis and purification processes.
- Perform analytical testing and interpret experimental data.
- Prepare laboratory reports, research documentation, and technical records.
- Troubleshoot synthesis, purification, and analytical issues.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and applicable GMP/GLP requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams for research and process development.

Educational

Qualification - M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry,



Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/related specialization.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Peptide Chemistry, or a relevant field is an added advantage.

Experience - 2–5 years of relevant experience in peptide synthesis, peptide chemistry, or pharmaceutical R&D.;

- Experience in SPPS, HPLC, and LC-MS is preferred.

Required Skills - Peptide synthesis and purification.

- Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS).
- HPLC and LC-MS analysis.
- Analytical method development and troubleshooting.
- Scientific documentation and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and pharmaceutical regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in peptide synthesis, peptide purification, and characterization in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research laboratories will be preferred. Interested candidates can share their updated CV for further consideration.
