We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, cost analysis, BOQ preparation, billing, and cost control for residential and commercial real estate projects.

The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of construction materials, drawings, project estimation, and quantity surveying practices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Quantity Estimation & BOQ Preparation
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Develop and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Calculate material requirements for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates and budgets.
- Monitor construction costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Conduct rate analysis for construction materials, labour, and equipment.
- Billing & Documentation
- Prepare and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Check running account (RA) bills and final bills against actual work completed.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, variations, and project expenditures.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, and Procurement Teams.
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities and progress of construction activities.
- Assist in evaluating variations,



additional works, and contractual claims.
- Cost Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project expenses against approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and quantity reconciliation statements.
- Support project teams in controlling material wastage and cost overruns.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid knowledge of quantity surveying and construction estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and BOQ preparation.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and measurement standards.
- Knowledge of rate analysis, material reconciliation, and contractor billing.
- Familiarity with residential apartment and commercial building construction.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Candidate Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.
- Experience in real estate development, high-rise residential apartments, or commercial construction projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kerala construction practices and local material rates will be an added advantage.
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
