Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in CNC/VMC machining, precision engineering components, and manufacturing quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through incoming, in-process, and final inspections, maintaining quality documentation, analyzing defects, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with engineering drawings, GD&T;, precision measuring instruments, and quality management practices in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of engineering components.
- Inspect components against engineering drawings, GD&T; requirements, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor CNC/VMC machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Maintain quality records and documentation, including ISO 9001:2015, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans, as applicable.
- Identify quality issues and perform root cause analysis to reduce defects and rejections.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify component dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure proper handling of inspection equipment.
- Coordinate with production, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support customer audits, sample inspections, product approvals, and new product development.




- Track rejection rates and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and applicable inspection standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering or quality control within engineering component manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of CNC/VMC machining and precision components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans, as applicable to the role.
- Understanding of root cause analysis, CAPA, rejection control, and defect prevention.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in CNC/VMC machining, precision component manufacturing, dimensional inspection, and manufacturing quality assurance will be well suited to this role.
