- • Inspection & Testing: Perform thorough visual and technical evaluations of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Blueprint & Specification Analysis: Read and interpret product blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand specific tolerances and critical-to-quality (CTQs) dimensions.
- Defect Documentation: Identify, isolate, and flag non-conforming or defective items to prevent downstream contamination or distribution. Complete detailed Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Process Auditing: Monitor ongoing production cycles to flag recurring patterns or issues, supporting root-cause investigations via structured quality tools.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Generate regular quality inspection logs and metrics report for upper management and work closely with production teams to rectify defects swiftly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all precision measurement tools and laboratory equipment remain properly calibrated and operational.
