About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Purchase Manager to lead our procurement function for surgical and medical products. The ideal candidate must have strong industry knowledge, an established supplier network, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely procurement at competitive prices without compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement of surgical products, medical devices, and medical consumables.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with manufacturers, authorized distributors, and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, credit terms, discounts, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Plan inventory and ensure product availability while minimizing stockouts, overstocking, and expiry-related losses.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts,



and Finance teams to meet business requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, purchase orders, delivery timelines, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable product documentation and procurement procedures.
- Lead the purchase team and drive cost efficiency, process improvement, and accountability.

Candidate Requirements:

- 8–15 years of relevant experience in purchase and procurement.
- Mandatory experience in the surgical and medical products industry.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, medical devices, consumables, and supplier networks.
- Proven vendor negotiation, inventory management, and cost-control skills.
- Valuable analytical, communication, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
