Role Description The Purchase Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for leading the entire procurement function for the organization. This role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services for projects.

The Purchase

Head will manage vendor relationships, monitor purchase orders, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with project, finance, and operations teams to forecast requirements, optimize inventory levels, and control costs. The role also includes overseeing the purchase team,



improving processes, maintaining accurate records, and using data to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain management, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, or related project-based industries, with a solid understanding of materials, services, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, MS Excel, and other tools for data analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Well-developed leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide, mentor, and evaluate a purchasing team.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on cost optimization and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications or professional certifications in procurement are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role, preferably as Purchase Head, Purchase Manager, or similar leadership position.
