Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive / Purchase Manager with 3–6 years of relevant experience in the construction industry is mandatory. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities related to construction materials, vendor management, purchase coordination, rate negotiations, and timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects.
- Source and procure construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, finishing, and site consumables.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.
- Coordinate with project/site teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at site to avoid project delays.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor market price fluctuations and identify cost-saving opportunities.




- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and material reconciliation records.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation properly.
- Follow company procurement policies and approval procedures.
- Coordinate with accounts department for bill processing and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure quality and quantity compliance of materials supplied.
- Assist management in preparing procurement budgets and reports.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement within construction companies only.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and market rates.
- Experience in vendor development and negotiation.
- Solid understanding of purchase procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/Purchase Management Software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site requirements.
