Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other required items while ensuring timely procurement, competitive pricing, and compliance with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for pharmaceutical materials.

- Source, identify, and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.

- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) based on approved purchase requisitions.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Follow up on pending orders, delivery schedules, and material shortages.

- Coordinate with the Stores, Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Accounts departments.

- Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, and procurement documentation.





- Verify invoices and coordinate with the Accounts department for payment processing.

- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable pharmaceutical quality requirements.

- Assist in vendor evaluation, cost control, and inventory planning

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Knowledge of vendor management, purchase orders, quotations, and inventory coordination.

- Good negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

- Experience with ERP or purchase management software will be an added advantage.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage tasks efficiently.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
