Shaip.ai is looking for a dynamic and driven Project Manager to lead AI/ML data collection and annotation programs. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in managing AI data lifecycle projects, with strong execution skills and the ability to navigate fast-paced, global environments. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, making it a great fit for professionals who thrive on ownership and impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for AI data collection and annotation initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, annotators, quality analysts, vendors, and product managers.

- Manage timelines, deliverables, quality standards, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent projects.

- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics with both clients and internal teams.

- Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and client updates on a regular basis.

- Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Bard) to enhance productivity, reporting, and team efficiency.





- Ensure alignment with client expectations, SLAs, and compliance requirements.

- Step in as an individual contributor when required to maintain project momentum.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of project management experience, ideally in AI/ML, data annotation, or data operations companies.

- Solid understanding of the AI data lifecycle collection, cleansing, annotation, and QA.

- Solid grasp of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Jira, Gantt charts).

- Experience managing global teams and external vendors is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in using generative AI tools to streamline project workflows.

- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

- High ownership mindset with a proactive, go-getter attitude.

- Prior experience in organizations like Appen, Scale AI, Sama, iMerit etc. is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.

- Passion for AI, ML, and innovation, with a desire to contribute to impactful projects.
