Job Summary The Project Expediter is responsible for monitoring and expediting the procurement, manufacturing, inspection, documentation, and delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution. The role ensures that suppliers and vendors meet agreed schedules, identifies potential delays, and coordinates with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of project materials in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor project schedules, purchase orders, and material delivery dates to ensure timely execution.

- Follow up with suppliers and vendors regarding order status, manufacturing progress, inspection, and dispatch.

- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, planning, quality control (QC), and logistics teams.

- Prepare and maintain material tracking reports, procurement status reports, and delivery schedules.

- Identify potential delays and communicate risks to the Project Manager and concerned departments.

- Expedite critical and long-lead materials to meet project milestones.

- Coordinate vendor document submissions, drawings,



technical documents, and inspection reports.

- Follow up on material inspections, testing, packing, and shipment arrangements.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, purchase order requirements, and delivery commitments.

- Maintain records of supplier commitments, manufacturing progress, dispatch details, and material receipts.

- Arrange coordination meetings with vendors and internal teams to resolve material-related issues.

- Support project planning by providing updated procurement and delivery information.

- Escalate delays, shortages, and other issues that may affect project completion.

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical,
