The Role

We are hiring a full-time, on-site Project Engineer in the Greater Surat Area to join our Development & Research function, reporting to the Head of Development & Research. You will support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and development projects across our HPHT, Tungsten Carbide, Tools, and Engineering divisions — moving between new-product development, process improvement, and equipment projects as priorities shift. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams, and keep projects on scope, on schedule, and aligned with our quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

- Support development and engineering projects across multiple divisions — from current product/process trials to equipment and capital projects
- Plan and run technical trials and prototyping; help translate development work into repeatable production processes
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and technical documentation




- Coordinate activities across production, maintenance, and quality functions, and across divisions
- Track progress, identify risks and technical bottlenecks early, and propose practical solutions
- Drive continuous-improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and equipment
- Report status to the Development & Research head and internal stakeholders, and resolve issues to keep projects on track

What We’re Looking For

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Project management and planning ability — organizing resources, timelines, and deliverables across concurrent projects
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and working knowledge of industrial safety and quality standards
- Willingness and aptitude to work across different material systems and manufacturing processes
- Clear communicator, able to present technical information to multidisciplinary teams
- Able to work on-site in the Greater Surat Area in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting

Preferred

- Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, R&D;, or capital projects in an industrial or high-tech environment
- Exposure to recent product or process development, prototyping, or structured experimentation
- Familiarity with one or more of: hard materials (carbide/diamond), cutting tools, precision machining, or high-pressure equipment
