Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team at Sancoale, Goa. The candidate will be responsible for preparing production schedules, coordinating with different departments, monitoring production progress, and ensuring the timely completion of customer orders.

The ideal candidate should have good planning, coordination, analytical, and communication skills, along with a basic understanding of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Monitor daily production activities against planned targets and delivery commitments.
- Check material availability and coordinate with Stores and Purchase to avoid production delays.
- Track work orders, production status, pending jobs and order completion.
- Prepare and maintain production planning reports, schedules, and Excel trackers.
- Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate with the concerned departments to resolve issues.




- Prioritize urgent orders and revise production schedules based on changing requirements.
- Monitor machine and manpower availability while preparing production plans.
- Follow up with production teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Maintain proper documentation and provide regular updates to management regarding production status.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce delays.

Educational Qualification

- Any Graduate or Diploma holder.
- Candidates with a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field will be preferred.

Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Fresh candidates with relevant technical knowledge and good planning skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data management.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production reports.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
