JAC Group, a 5th-generation family business with a legacy of over 100 years in wood, is looking for experienced and result-oriented professionals to strengthen our manufacturing operations.
We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in managing and operating mechanised production lines with a strong focus on productivity, quality, operational efficiency, team building and timely delivery.
1. PRODUCTION MANAGERS
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and control day-to-day production operations.
- Ensure achievement of production targets and delivery schedules.
- Optimise machine utilisation, manpower productivity, and material consumption.
- Implement quality control systems and minimise production wastage.
- Monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve performance targets.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
1. PRODUCTION ENGINEERS
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities.
- Ensure smooth operation of mechanised production lines.
- Monitor production output, product quality, and machine performance.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise machine downtime.
- Maintain production records and implement process improvements.
PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Candidates with experience in any of the following manufacturing sectors will have an advantage:
- Furniture manufacturing
- Door manufacturing
- Melamine-faced and laminated board production
- MDF/HDF and other wood-based panel products
- Veneer processing and finishing
- Other mechanised manufacturing and automated production lines
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Compensation: Attractive remuneration commensurate with experience and capability. Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
