Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Software Product Owner &

- Project Manager with hands-on experience managing AI-driven projects to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing the complete lifecycle of software and AI projects, from requirement gathering and product planning to development, testing, deployment, and delivery. This role requires strong product ownership, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with AI/ML engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate should be comfortable navigating complex project constraints, managing evolving requirements, and driving AI initiatives from concept to production while ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Ownership &
- AI Product Management

Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define product vision, objectives, requirements, and success criteria for software and AI-powered solutions. Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, technical feasibility, and project priorities.

Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and product roadmaps.

Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into products and business workflows to improve efficiency, automation, decision-making, and user experience.

Work closely with AI/ML engineers and developers to define requirements for AI features, including intelligent automation, predictive analytics, conversational AI, generative AI, and other relevant use cases.

Define measurable outcomes and success metrics for AI features, considering business impact, model performance, usability, and customer satisfaction.

Gather user feedback and coordinate continuous product improvements based on usage insights, stakeholder input, and performance results.

- AI Project Management &
- Delivery

Demonstrate hands-on experience managing AI/ML or generative AI projects through one or more phases of the project lifecycle, from discovery and planning through development, validation, deployment, and post-launch improvement. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps for software and AI initiatives.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, AI/ML engineers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.

Manage project execution across AI-specific activities, including data preparation, model development or integration, evaluation, testing, deployment, and performance monitoring, as applicable.

Track project progress, identify delivery risks, resolve dependencies, and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Manage evolving requirements and technical uncertainties commonly associated with AI projects, including data availability, model accuracy, integration complexity, and changing business expectations.

Ensure appropriate coordination of functional testing, model evaluation, user acceptance testing (UAT), security reviews, and production readiness.





Drive projects to successful completion within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.

- AI Technology &
- Technical Collaboration

Work closely with technical teams to understand AI use cases, solution feasibility, implementation approaches, and technical dependencies. Demonstrate a practical understanding of AI/ML concepts and generative AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI APIs, and intelligent automation.

Collaborate with engineering teams on the integration of AI models and services into web applications, mobile applications, enterprise systems, and existing software platforms.

Facilitate discussions on model evaluation, output quality, hallucinations, data privacy, security, latency, scalability, and cost considerations.

Help define requirements for AI guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, responsible AI practices, and monitoring where relevant to the product.

Translate complex technical concepts and AI limitations into clear business language to support informed stakeholder decisions.

Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry practices to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.

- Agile Project Management &
- Execution

Lead or facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Manage sprint goals, release plans, dependencies, and delivery commitments across distributed and cross-functional teams.

Use tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms to manage backlogs, track progress, document requirements, and report project status.

Ensure requirements are sufficiently clear, prioritized, and ready for development.

Monitor key project metrics, including sprint progress, delivery predictability, defect trends, milestone completion, and release readiness.

Maintain transparent communication with internal teams, international clients, and senior stakeholders regarding progress, risks, issues, and changes in scope.

- Problem Solving, Risk Management &
- Leadership

Proactively identify roadblocks and develop practical solutions in challenging or ambiguous project situations. Exercise sound judgment when balancing business priorities, technical limitations, project timelines, and resource constraints.

Effectively manage scope changes, competing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and delivery risks.

Facilitate decision-making when AI project outcomes, data limitations, model performance, or technical dependencies introduce uncertainty.

Foster collaboration, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset across cross-functional teams.

Take ownership of project outcomes and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

Escalate critical issues appropriately while recommending actionable solutions and recovery plans.

- Stakeholder Communication &
- Client Management

Act as the primary coordination point between clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams. Conduct requirement discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and product demonstrations.

Communicate project objectives, AI capabilities, technical limitations, delivery risks, and expected outcomes clearly to non-technical and technical audiences.

Manage expectations regarding AI feasibility, accuracy, performance, and implementation timelines.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, decision logs, risk registers, and release updates.





Build strong working relationships with international clients and distributed teams across different time zones.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

2–4 years of professional experience as a Product Owner or in a similar software delivery role.

Demonstrable experience working on at least one AI/ML or generative AI project, preferably involving requirement definition, project coordination, development oversight, AI integration, testing, or deployment.

Experience managing software development projects in a software services, consulting, SaaS, or technology-driven workplace.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience using project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Practical knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, generative AI, LLM-based applications, AI APIs, or intelligent automation.

Ability to translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software architecture fundamentals, APIs, integrations, and testing processes.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to handle challenging situations, resolve conflicts, and manage changing requirements effectively.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects or workstreams while maintaining delivery quality and accountability.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and explain complex concepts in business-friendly language.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing AI projects involving LLMs, generative AI, chatbots, intelligent assistants, RAG pipelines, predictive analytics, recommendation systems, or AI-powered automation.

Familiarity with AI platforms and services such as OpenAI APIs, Azure AI services, AWS AI services, Google Cloud AI, or comparable technologies.

Exposure to AI evaluation practices, prompt testing, data quality, model performance monitoring, and responsible AI considerations.

Experience managing projects involving cybersecurity, fintech, mobile applications, enterprise software, or other technically complex solutions.

Experience working with international clients, remote teams, and geographically distributed stakeholders.

Familiarity with Confluence, MS Project, product roadmapping tools, and project reporting frameworks.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile project management certifications.

Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, or software architecture is an added advantage.
