Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled PLC & Motion Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, Structured Text (ST/SCL), servo motion control, and industrial machine automation. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing, integrating, testing, and commissioning PLC-based automation and motion-control applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC applications using Structured Text (ST/SCL).
- Develop and implement servo motion-control applications for industrial machinery.
- Configure and commission motion controllers, servo drives, motors, and associated automation systems.
- Work on single-axis and multi-axis motion applications, including homing, jogging, positioning, and synchronised movements.
- Integrate PLCs with machines, servo systems, sensors, drives, and other automation components.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and support during FAT/SAT activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to deliver reliable automation solutions.
- Provide technical support and participate in customer-site visits when required.

Required Skills & Experience:





- 26 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Structured Text (ST/SCL) programming.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in PLC-based servo motion programming or motion-control applications.
- Knowledge of servo drives, motors, axis positioning, and motion-control concepts.
- Experience with industrial PLC platforms such as Siemens, Beckhoff, CODESYS, B&R;, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, or similar.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs, machine-control systems, and automation equipment.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in OEMs, machine-building companies, or Special Purpose Machine (SPM) automation.
- Exposure to multi-axis synchronisation, PLCopen Motion, servo tuning, and motion-control libraries.
- Experience with machine commissioning, FAT/SAT, and customer-site support.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
