Job Title : Plant Head – Powder Coating / Surface Finishing

Department : Production/ Operations / Manufacturing

Location : Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh

Reporting To : MD/ Director

Qualifications : Diploma/ Degree – Mechanical/ Chemical/ Production Engineering or any relevant field.

Experience : Minimum 8 to 15+ years of hands-on manufacturing and plant management experience

Work Schedule : 9:30 am – 6:00 pm/ Six days a week

Salary Package : 1 Lac – 1.2 lac pm

Job Overview: To lead and manage end-to-end CED coating & powder coating and other surface treatment plant operations, ensuring optimal productivity, strict quality control, less rejection rate, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.

Plant Operations & Production Management

- Oversee daily manufacturing and paint shop operations, including pre-treatment (phosphating/degreasing), electrostatic powder application, and curing ovens.




- Drive production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery timelines and internal dispatch targets.
- Optimize machine uptime, line balance, and manpower utilization to maximize plant throughput.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), rejections, and energy/gas consumption
- Implement process improvements, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma initiatives to cut down waste and rework
- Enforce strict Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols, hazardous chemical handling, and waste disposal rules.
- Manage plant operational budgets, raw material consumption (powders, chemicals), and cost-reduction projects.
- Lead, mentor, and build the capacity of production supervisors, quality engineers, and shop-floor operators.
- Familiarity with ISO, IATF, OHSAS, and local environmental/pollution control regulations
