Most placement training stops at a CV workshop and a few mock interviews. At Nimaya, we are building something different. In two focused sessions, each Naari builds a placement kit (CV, cover letter, video resume, AI portfolio and LinkedIn profile) and learns how to find and approach opportunities beyond job portals. And she learns it for the path she wants: a job, an internship, a project, freelance work or her own business.
As Placement Trainer, you will be the person in the room who has been on the other side of the hiring table. Your experience is what turns our frameworks into confidence for a Naari who has never seen a corporate interview.

Through our flagship programs, GenAI Ready Naari and Future Ready Naari Fellowship, we equip our learners with 21st-century skills, real-world exposure, and the confidence to pursue meaningful career pathways. To date, 10,000+ Nimaya Naaris across 5 states have benefited from our interventions. Our work is supported by partnerships with leading institutions, including the Government of India’s YuvaAI Mission.
Background● 3–4 years of experience in the corporate sector, ideally in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition or campus hiring
● Clear understanding of how hiring processes work across different companies, and how they have changed
● Experience training, mentoring or interviewing early-career talent or students is a plus
● Is up to date with current hiring trends, and with developments in AI and the future of work
● Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi), and comfort facilitating small groups
● Familiarity with LinkedIn, digital tools and AI tools
● Genuine interest in women’s empowerment and first-generation talent
Your Core Responsibilities
1. Deliver placement sessions
- Run sessions on building a placement kit and on applying smartly, for small groups of learners
- Cover multiple career paths: full time jobs, internships, projects and field work, freelance, and own business
1. Bring the corporate world into the room
- Explain how recruitment works in different companies, and how interviews have changed
- Share what recruiters look for, and what they reject
- Help the learners connect to corporate opportunities
1. Coach every learner on her kit
- Guide her through her CV, cover letter, video resume, AI portfolio and LinkedIn profile
- Give specific feedback so each piece is ready to send
1. Teach smart applying
- Show learners where to find opportunities beyond job portals, including reaching out directly to HR people
- Help each learner build and use her own AI job-filtering workflow
1. Keep the model fresh
- Update session content and templates as hiring trends change
- Share what is working and what is not with the Nimaya team
1. Track outcomes
- Work with the placement team to track kit completion, outreach, interviews and offers
