Role Description The Placement Officer role is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Placement

Officer will coordinate and manage campus and community placement activities for program participants, including building and maintaining relationships with employers and training partners. This role involves conducting career counseling sessions, supporting learners in resume development and interview preparation, and tracking placement outcomes.

The position also requires regular reporting, data management, and participation in outreach events to strengthen placement pipelines.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in campus placement and employer relationship management, with experience coordinating recruitment drives or placement activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with students, employers, and internal teams.
- Experience in career counseling, guidance, or mentoring, with the ability to support participants in making informed career choices.
- Background in training and education, preferably in employability skills, professional readiness, or vocational programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, education, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local labor market trends and entry-level job opportunities, especially for youth and women.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including basic proficiency with MS Office and digital tools.
- Commitment to gender equality, inclusion, and working with diverse communities; prior experience in the development or non-profit sector is a plus.
