At Nimaya, placement readiness is built around small-group sessions and a placement kit that each learner builds herself. Behind every session that runs smoothly, there is someone who has planned the slots, reminded every learner, followed up with those who missed it, and tracked what happened next.
As Placement Coordinator, you will work across teams, hold the placement journey together, and make sure no naari is left behind.

Background● 1–3 years of experience in program, operations or coordination roles
● Experience scheduling and coordinating across several teams or stakeholders
● Robust follow-up, tracking and documentation habits
● Comfortable with Google Sheets, Google Meet, WhatsApp and AI tools
● Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi)
● Experience in education, training or the social sector is a plus
● Genuine interest in women’s empowerment and employability
Your Core Responsibilities1. Plan and schedule sessions
- Form small groups of learners and schedule sessions for every group in every cohort
- Manage the trainer’s calendar, session links and venues
2. Make sure every learner gets her sessions
- Send reminders, mark attendance and follow up with learners who miss a session
- Arrange catch-up slots so every learner who signs up completes the program
3. Coordinate across teams
- Work with the Placement Trainer, program managers, mentors, college partners and Nimaya team members
4. Track and report
- Build and maintain placement data on our learning platform: attendance, kit completion, outreach, applications, interviews and offers
- Share a short weekly update with gaps and suggested fixes
5. Gather feedback and improve
- Collect feedback from learners and mentors after each session
- Help the team improve the placement model based on what you see
