Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Milak. The Pharmacist will review and dispense prescriptions, ensure accurate medication dosing, and provide counseling to patients on proper use, side effects, and interactions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying physician orders, maintaining medication inventories, monitoring for potential drug interactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes. The role also involves maintaining clear documentation, participating in quality improvement activities,



and supporting health education initiatives within the clinic.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety, with the ability to interpret and validate prescriptions accurately.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and electronic health records to manage prescriptions and patient data securely.
- Effective communication and counseling skills to explain medication use, risks, and adherence strategies to patients and caregivers.
- Attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to identify and resolve potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and maintain professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Relevant pharmacy degree (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy) and active pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting, preferably within a patient-facing environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to local, state, and national pharmacy regulations and standards.
