We are looking for an experienced Packing Executive responsible for managing packing operations, ensuring proper packing standards, material availability, dispatch readiness, and timely coordination with Production, Stores, Quality and Dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day packing activities as per production and dispatch plans.
- Ensure products are packed as per customer specifications and company standards.
- Monitor packing material availability and coordinate with Stores for timely replenishment.
- Ensure correct quantity, identification, labeling and traceability of packed material.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams for smooth material movement.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of finished goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain packing-related records, reports and MIS.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity in the packing area.
- Ensure FIFO and 5S practices are followed in the packing and finished-goods area.
- Identify and reduce packing material wastage and improve packing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Support timely dispatches and resolve packing-related issues.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial packing and material handling.
- Basic knowledge of production and dispatch processes.
- Good coordination and manpower-handling skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, FIFO, inventory control and documentation.
- Basic computer/MS Excel knowledge.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- 35 years of experience in manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry.
- Candidates with experience in packing, finished goods and dispatch operations will be preferred.
