Role Description The Owner role at Cipla in Maharashtra, India is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for overseeing overall business operations, strategic direction, and sustainable growth. The individual in this role will set long-term objectives, align organizational priorities with Cipla’s “Caring for Life” philosophy, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.

Daily responsibilities include managing senior leadership teams, monitoring financial performance, evaluating new business opportunities, and driving innovation across product portfolios and markets. The Owner will foster a culture of ethical practices, inclusivity, and continuous improvement,



while building solid relationships with key stakeholders such as regulators, partners, investors, and healthcare professionals. This role also involves guiding major investment decisions, risk management, and overseeing initiatives that enhance patient access and global impact.

Qualifications

- Proven leadership and executive management experience, including strategic planning, organizational governance, and decision-making at a senior level.
- Strong business acumen with expertise in finance, budgeting, and long-term value creation within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical operations, regulatory frameworks, quality standards, and global healthcare markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to drive innovation, manage complex projects, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-evolving, highly regulated environment.
- Commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, and patient-centric values aligned with Cipla’s “Caring for Life” credo.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field is highly beneficial; international experience is a strong advantage.
