Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced ORMB Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). The ideal candidate will have experience developing complex ORMB components, designing technical solutions, building integrations, and optimizing batch processing for enterprise-scale applications.

The candidate should be comfortable translating business and technical requirements into scalable solutions and participating in technical discussions with customer architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain ORMB applications based on business requirements.
- Analyze functional and technical specifications and recommend appropriate ORMB/OUAF components.
- Develop and enhance complex ORMB components, including Algorithms, Batch Controls, Business Services, and Scripts.
- Work extensively with the ORMB File Framework and Batch Multithreading Framework.




- Develop and maintain integrations, interfaces, and data exchange processes with external enterprise systems.
- Work with Zones, Portals, UI Maps, Scripts, and other OUAF components.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL code for application functionality and performance.
- Utilize Java and Groovy where required for scripting and customization.
- Participate in technical design reviews and discussions with customer architects and technical stakeholders.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow established SDLC processes and coding standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and other developers to ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, with strong relevant hands-on experience in ORMB development.
- Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
- Expertise in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Hands-on experience developing:
- Algorithms
- Batch Controls and Batch Processes
- Business Services
- Scripts
- File Framework components
- Batch Multithreading Framework components
- Strong understanding of ORMB/OUAF architecture and component selection.




- Experience with Zones, Portals, UI Maps, and related framework components.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Java and Groovy is preferred.
- Experience in enterprise application integration and interface development.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to participate in customer-facing technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale enterprise billing, revenue management, utilities, telecom, or financial services projects.
- Experience handling complex batch processing and performance optimization.
- Exposure to ORMB implementation, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based delivery environment.
