Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX application development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, database performance tuning, and secure application development.

Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.

- Build responsive and scalable Oracle APEX applications following best development practices.

- Design user-friendly APEX pages, navigation, themes, and UI components.

- Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

- Integrate third-party applications through REST APIs and Web Services.

- Consume and expose REST APIs using JSON/XML.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Optimize SQL queries and database objects for performance.

- Handle application exceptions, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Work closely with business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Mandatory Skills:-

Oracle APEX (Must Have)

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.

- Strong experience in:

- Oracle APEX Application Development

- APEX Page Design

- Classic Reports





- Interactive Reports

- Interactive Grids

- Experience in API consumption and API exposure within Oracle APEX.

SQL & PL/SQL (Must Have)

- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience developing:

- Complex SQL Queries

- Packages

- Strong knowledge of:

- BULK COLLECT

- FORALL

- Collections

- Exception Handling

- Deep understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization.

Oracle APEX Authentication (Must Have)

- Hands-on experience implementing Oracle APEX authentication schemes, including:

- LDAP Authentication (Microsoft Active Directory or other LDAP servers)

- Custom Authentication using PL/SQL functions and database tablesException Handling (Must Have)

- Strong understanding of exception handling in Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.

- Experience implementing robust error handling, logging, and debugging mechanisms.

REST APIs & Web Services (Must Have)

- Hands-on experience with:

- REST API Integration

- RESTful Web Services

- JSON Parsing

- XML Processing

- HTTP Methods:

- • GET

- • PUT

- • DELETE

- • Data fetching and response parsing.
