Operations Lead — Bandilo

About Bandilo

Bandilo is a zero-commission hyperlocal delivery marketplace connecting push-cart vendors and street sellers with customers across Hyderabad. Vendors keep 100% of every order; Bandilo earns through a flat monthly vendor subscription instead of commission.

The role

Right now, every function — tech, marketing, field vendor onboarding, delivery, and an external onboarding partnership — reports directly to the founder. This role exists to change that. You'll go through a structured 15-day handover across every function, then take over day-to-day running of the business so the founder can step back into a supervisory role.

What you'll own

- Full, independent ownership of the team and day-to-day running of Bandilo — this isn't a support role, the buck stops with you
- Day-to-day coordination across Tech, Marketing, AFO (field vendor operations), and Delivery
- The daily and weekly reporting cadence across all functions
- End-to-end resolution of vendor and customer complaints — full ownership through to resolution, not just escalation
- Operational issues and delivery failures — only looping in the founder when something crosses a defined threshold




- The relationship with Bandilo's external onboarding partner — an MOU-governed engagement covering vendor and delivery onboarding across two zones, including weekly payout reconciliation and audit compliance
- Vendor onboarding pace and delivery reliability, with authority to redirect field resources where the numbers are lagging

What we're looking for
- 3+ years in an operations, general management, or chief-of-staff role — ideally at a hyperlocal delivery, quick-commerce, or gig-economy startup
- Comfortable managing field and delivery staff you don't sit next to every day
- Process-first: able to take a founder's mental model of the business and turn it into something a team can run without him in the room
- Working knowledge of Telugu and/or Urdu is a strong plus, given the vendor base
- Based in Hyderabad, or willing to relocate

First 15 days A structured, hands-on handover directly with the founder: shadowing every function, taking over the reporting cadence, and starting to own the escalation matrix. By the end of day 15, the founder should be able to step back and observe from a distance. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹59,000.00 per month
