We are looking for passionate Junior Java Engineers to join our Cyber Intelligence team in India and contribute to developing advanced security technologies that help make our world safer and more secure.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Work as part of a high-performing, cross-functional Agile development team.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and CI/CD.
- Develop and maintain Java components and microservices in a distributed, cloud-native workplace.
- Collaborate with global development teams, product owners, architects, and system integration engineers to solve technical challenges.
- Apply development best practices and take increasing ownership of assigned tasks.
For that mission youll need:
- BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
- Good knowledge of Java 8 or later and related technologies such as Spring and JBoss.
- Understanding of backend concepts such as multithreading, REST APIs, WebSockets, and application servers.
- Exposure to developing microservices in cloud environments.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Gauge.
- Experience using Git and common branching and pull-request workflows.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to learn, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
