Role summary

Lead the development of a mobile native version of an existing sports tech web platform. Build scalable, highperformance apps using React Native with integrated features for content management, video streaming, chats, online learning and social media design. Collaborate with backend teams (Node.js) to deliver seamless user experiences for athletes, coaches, academies, and federations worldwide.

Responsibilities

- Mobile app development
- Architect, develop, and maintain crossplatform mobile applications using React Native.
- Translate existing web project features into optimized mobile experiences.
- Ensure smooth integration with backend services (Node.js, APIs, databases).

- Feature implementation
- Build modules for content management, video streaming, live chat, and social mediastyle feeds.
- Optimize video playback, streaming quality, and chat responsiveness for global users.
- Implement secure authentication, notifications, and inapp purchases/subscriptions if required.
- Collaboration & integration
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to align mobile features with business goals.
- Ensure consistent UI/UX across web and mobile platforms.
- Integrate analytics,



performance tracking, and reporting tools.
- Quality & performance
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.
- Ensure apps meet scalability, security, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across devices and operating systems.
- Innovation & scalability
- Stay updated on mobile tech trends, streaming protocols, and social media design patterns.
- Suggest improvements to enhance user engagement and retention.
- Build reusable components and frameworks for future sports tech modules.

Requirements

- 5+ years of skilled experience in mobile app development.
- Strong expertise in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with content management systems, video streaming, chat features, and social media UI/UX design.
- Backend knowledge with Node.js and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problemsolving skills.
- Experience integrating thirdparty SDKs (video, chat, analytics, payments).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
