Role Description This is a part time, remote role for a Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience in Business Central. The consultant will work closely with clients to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into Business Central configurations and workflows. Daily responsibilities include conducting functional workshops, preparing documentation, supporting solution design and testing, and providing user training and post-implementation support.

The role also involves collaborating with technical teams to ensure successful integrations, troubleshooting functional issues, and recommending improvements that align with client business and finance objectives.



The consultant is expected to manage their tasks independently while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements, interpret data, and design effective Business Central solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to conduct workshops, gather requirements, document processes, and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of business processes across operations, supply chain, and related functional areas within an ERP context.
- Consulting experience in implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms, including client-facing engagements.
- Knowledge of finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting within ERP systems.
- Experience with configuration, testing, and user training in Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics365 or Business Central are an advantage.
