Role Description The MEP Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. The role involves designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed design drawings and calculations, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with architectural and structural teams, and supporting project managers with design inputs.

The MEP Design Engineer will review and optimize designs for performance, cost, and sustainability,



collaborate with contractors during execution, and assist in resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Design Engineering and Product Design skills for building robust, efficient MEP systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering skills for HVAC, piping, and plumbing system design.
- Candidates should possess proficient Electrical Engineering skills for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating accurate drawings and models.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of MEP standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with site execution teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Familiarity with BIM tools, project management practices, and sustainable design principles is an advantage.
