Role & responsibilities

- Precision Shaft Alignment: Perform laser alignment and 3-dial (rim and face) alignment of rotating equipment.
- Rotating Equipment Maintenance: Carry out inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and overhauling of pumps, fans, blowers, and gearboxes.
- Mechanical Seal Maintenance: Perform mechanical seal assembly, installation, inspection, and maintenance.
- Compressor Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities on screw compressors.
- Material Handling Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot RAV, pin mixers, and bucket elevators.
- Vibration Monitoring: Conduct basic vibration analysis to identify abnormal equipment conditions and potential mechanical faults.
- Safety Valve Servicing: Perform servicing, inspection, and maintenance of safety valves as per established procedures.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) and piping isometric drawings for maintenance and installation activities.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Identify mechanical faults, perform corrective actions, and minimize equipment downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Follow plant safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and applicable PPE requirements.
- Pipeline Fabrication: Assist in pipeline fabrication, pipe fitting, measurement, marking, cutting, fit-up, and installation activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) activities on static and rotating equipment, including inspection, cleaning, dismantling, assembly, and servicing.




- Strainer Fabrication: Perform strainer fabrication, including measurement, cutting, fitting, assembly, and finishing as per drawings and specifications.
- Welding & Cutting Operations: Perform or assist with welding, gas cutting, plasma cutting, and grinding activities as per job requirements.

1. Tools & Equipment Handling: Safely handle and maintain mechanical tools, fabrication equipment, and workshop machinery.
2. Safety Compliance: Follow plant safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, hot-work precautions, and PPE guidelines.
3. Team Coordination: Coordinate with supervisors, welders, fitters, and maintenance personnel to complete assigned jobs efficiently and safely.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, couplings, seals, and lubrication practices.
- Practical skills in equipment dismantling, inspection, assembly, and commissioning support.
- Ability to use precision measuring and alignment instruments.
- Basic understanding of vibration monitoring and mechanical fault diagnosis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.

**Candidates with practical hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and precision shaft alignment will be preferred. ** Applicants with hands-on experience in pipeline fabrication, static and rotating equipment maintenance, and industrial cutting and grinding operations.
