Position: Marketplace Finance & Reconciliation Executive

Location: Gurugram

Working Days: Monday to Friday

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to independently manage marketplace reconciliations, payment tracking, stock reconciliation, TDS workings and channel-wise P&L;, ensuring accurate reporting, timely closure and recovery of outstanding payments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Marketplace Reconciliation: Reconcile orders, sales, settlements, commissions, returns, refunds, cancellations and deductions.
- Payment Tracking & Follow-ups: Monitor payouts, investigate short payments and follow up with marketplace teams on pending payments and claims.
- Monthly Closure: Drive timely reconciliation closure, maintain ageing of open items and resolve outstanding mismatches.
- TDS & Tax Workings: Prepare and reconcile TDS workings; coordinate with the internal finance team on accounting and compliance.
- Stock Reconciliation: Match marketplace inventory with warehouse records and track lost, damaged or unaccounted stock.
- Marketplace P&L;:



Prepare channel-wise profitability reports covering sales, commissions, advertising, logistics, returns and other costs.
- MIS & Coordination: Maintain accurate trackers and work with KAMs, operations, warehouse and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting or reconciliation; e-commerce/D2C experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa or Blinkit.
- Valuable understanding of marketplace settlement cycles, commissions, deductions, returns, claims and TDS.
- Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data analysis.
- High attention to detail, ownership, structured follow-ups and ability to meet monthly closure timelines.
