Position Overview:
The Marketing Operations Associate will be the execution backbone of the marketing ops team, focusing on accurate, compliant campaign delivery and clean data. This role builds and deploys email programs, maintains database quality, and supports day-today operations in HubSpot and Salesforce, so the broader marketing team can run campaigns on time and with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
•Campaign Operations:
- Build, QA and deploy emails, nurture programs and landing page assets in HubSpot.
- Manage the email send calendar and maintain scalable templates (emails/forms).
•Email Deliverability:
- Monitor bounces, spam complaints and sender reputation, and flag issues early.
- Follow IP warming and list hygiene best practices.
•Data Hygiene & Governance:
- Run routine database audits covering lead validation, deduplication and standardization.
- Execute list imports, audience segmentation and suppression lists.
•Compliance: Support GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance across email and data activities, including unsubscribe and suppression management. •Operational Excellence:
- Work the marketing ops request queue, run QA checks before every send, and flag HubSpot-to-Salesforce sync issues to resolve.
- Create and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
•Reporting Support: Pull campaign performance and database reports from standard dashboards and prepare data for the team to analyze. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales Ops, Front-End teams, Web-dev and demand generation on lead routing, asset readiness and campaign intake.
Qualifications:
•Experience:
- 1-3 years in Marketing Operations or email marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS setting.
- Experience executing nurture programs and email campaigns.
•Technical Depth:
- Strong working proficiency in HubSpot. Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred.
•Attention to Detail: Careful, process-driven approach to QA, data accuracy and documentation. •Compliance Awareness: Working knowledge of GDPR and CAN-SPAM requirements.
•Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work clearly with cross-functional teams.
•Certifications: HubSpot Marketing Hub certification is preferred.
•Deliverability Knowledge: Basic understanding of email deliverability, list hygiene and reputation monitoring.
•Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
