Marketing Engineer – Social Media & Performance Marketing
Kitab · Full-time · On-site, Hyderabad · 3+ years · AI-native role
About Kitab
Kitab brings ancient wisdom into modern life. We turn texts like the Bhagavad Gita and the Puranas into clear, practical guidance for everyday problems: stress, relationships, purpose and decisions. Everything we build serves three pillars: Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, Free Yourself.
Kitab is backed by Sunera Group, led by founder Ravi Reddy Kaki, who has built and exited companies before. We're a current product, but not a first-time team.
Why this role exists
Our organic content shows the message resonates. Now we need one person who connects the dots: social campaigns that build a community, paid media that brings the right people into the app, and measurement that shows who stays. We call it a Marketing Engineer because we want someone who builds systems (playbooks, testing, tracking and automation), not someone who only posts or only runs ads.
Reports to: Growth Lead (Growth department)
What you'll own
- Social media campaigns on Instagram and YouTube (plus LinkedIn where it fits): themes, content calendars, launch moments and community growth
- Creator and community campaigns: creator collaborations, podcast guests, user-generated content and our WhatsApp community
- Paid media on Meta and Google: budget split, audiences, creative themes and weekly optimisation
- The organic-to-paid flywheel: spot posts that win organically and scale them with paid
- Tracking: social analytics, pixels and SDKs, Conversions API, a mobile measurement partner, Firebase, GA4 and UTMs
- Results: reach, saves, shares and follower growth; cost per install, activated users, retention and CAC
Frameworks you'll use
- Hero–Hub–Help for big moments, recurring series and everyday content
- See–Think–Do–Care to map every campaign to an intent stage
- Content pillars: Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, Free Yourself
- A metric tree: reach → engagement → clicks → installs → activated users → retained users
- Creative diagnostics: hook rate, hold rate, saves, shares, CTR and conversion
- ICE scoring and LTV:CAC to prioritise tests and spend

What AI-native means here
You use AI every working day, not occasionally. You keep a shared prompt library (brand voice, caption and hook prompts, creator briefs, ad analysis), you can show us the prompts behind your best work, and you've automated at least one repetitive task. In the assignment, we'll ask for your prompts alongside the plan.
